go race cyclo-cross dates

for all you cx nuts in the bristol/south west uk area here are the 'go race' dates for the summer season.  of particular interest to me will be the odd down race which i have had and continue to have the privilege and pleasure of helping to design (as a member of velo club walcot) along with andy stewart (bath cc) and charles coleman.  there used to be a cx race held up at odd down some years back.  a few of the original features may well figure in the new course in addition to the integration of sections of the brand new cycle circuit and possibly some of the bmx track too.  it is going to be different that is for sure and we hope it will be a memorable course for both races and spectators alike.  just need to get a few people in to provide the beer hand ups and we will be ready!

not no margarine strictly butter

i did not realise when i bought this pair of bottles i would be making a statement about the united states two most famous cyclists.  the unsalted butter bottle references greg lemonds three tour de france victories whilst the nasty salted butter bottle has the years of lance armstrongs revoked tour victories crossed out.  thankfully references to both are discreet, and instead i was drawn to the bottles by their colour and design and because they are bpa-free.  having used the bottles a few times i can also confirm the moflow cap pops open really easily making it perfect for taking a slug of water just when you need it to, at those moments when gulping for air is difficult never mind struggling to open a cap.  excellent quality and functionality.

in the uk these limited edition bottles can be purchased from il soigneur.
